Electric Joe May in Europe

Del. Joe May has taken over $10,000 from Dominion Power. They even have a classy night out on the town from time to time (vpap.org). With that kind of happy marriage, it’s no surprise Joe and Dominion finally took a honeymoon.

This week, Leesburg Today reported that May recently returned from an extended summer junket with executives from Dominion Power. May claims to be in favor of putting Dominion’s massive new lines underground, but “hedged his bet” about the possibility of Loudoun County’s future power lines going underground.

“I’m guardedly optimistic that we’ll end up with some underground in Loudoun,” said May.

Presumably, we’ll have to wait to see what Dominion tells him.
