Vogel Ducks Debate

Jill Holtman Vogel has incurred the ire of the Loudoun League of Women Voters for canceling a debate appearance with Democrat Karen Schultz and their independent opponent.

This “came as a surprise” to the League, since invitations apparently went out in July. (Leesburg Today, 9/18/07)

There’s nothing on Vogel’s calendar scheduled for tonight, and she didn’t give a reason for cancellation, so we’ll have assume she’s enjoying tonight’s balmy Loudoun County weather instead.

But who can blame her? We wouldn’t want to spend a perfectly nice night defending Virginia Republicans either.
